At **Funny CEO LLC**, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Funny.CEO platform.
1. What we hold, and how we got it
Everything below is checked against the code that does it. If a line here stopped being true, our own tests would fail before the page could go out saying it.
What you gave us
You typed it, uploaded it, or agreed to hand it over.
Your account
Name, email address and profile photo. If you signed in with Google, these come from your Google profile.
Also seen by: Google, if you chose to sign in with it.
Your public profile
Biography, headshot, social links, and for a venue its address, rooms and capacity. All of it is published.
Tickets you bought
The name and email you gave at checkout, what you bought, and whether you turned up.
Also seen by: The venue whose show you bought a ticket to.
The venue can see who is coming to their own show, by name and email, and whether each ticket was scanned at the door.
Card details
Nothing. Your card number never reaches our servers — Stripe takes it directly and hands us a reference.

This is the claim the old policy was reaching for when it said financial data is never stored here. Card data is not. A balance is — see below.
Identity documents
If you verify your identity, a government ID and a live photograph of your face, captured and held by Stripe Identity.

The old policy named Stripe once, as a payment processor, and never mentioned identity documents at all. A live selfie is required because a document alone proves somebody HAS an ID, not that they are its holder.
Text sent to an AI model
What you type to an agent, and the material we send a model to generate a poster, a biography or a suggestion.

The old policy's whole account of AI was 'generating marketing materials (posters and bios)'. Conversations with an agent go to a model too.
What somebody else gave us about you
A venue or another user wrote this about you. You did not provide it and, unless we say otherwise below, you were not told it exists.
A venue's note about you
If you attended a show, a venue can record your name, email and a note about your behaviour, marked as a warning or as banned.
Also seen by: The venue that wrote it.
You did not provide this, you are not notified when it is written, and there is no path today for you to see or contest it. That is a gap, and naming it here is the first half of closing it.
What we recorded as you used the platform
You did not type this as information about yourself. It is a record of what you did here.
Your balance and what you spent it on
Your FU balance and every movement of it, on our servers, plus a record of each payment we processed for you.
The old policy said financial data is never stored on our servers. A spendable balance is financial data and it is stored here. What is true is that your CARD is not.
What you searched for
Every query you type into the search bar, with your account id and role attached.
Not anonymised. It is kept so the search can be made to answer the things people actually ask it.
What you asked an agent to do
Every action an AI agent took for you, with the inputs it used, kept permanently as an audit trail.
Sensitive field values are redacted before the trail is written. The trail exists so that an agent acting on your behalf can be checked afterwards, and it is deliberately not deletable by the agent.
Technical data
IP address, browser and device, recorded against actions in the audit log.
What we made about you, without being asked
We created this. In one case below, we created it about a person who has never had an account here at all.
A page about you, if you are a touring comedian
Your name, your photograph and a biography we wrote, published as a profile page, built hourly from the Ticketmaster listings feed.
This happens whether or not you have ever had an account here. Nobody asks you first. If it is you and you want it gone, there is a way to say so on the page itself.
2. Data Usage & Google Services
We use your data strictly to facilitate the comedy ecosystem. Specifically, regarding **Google User Data**:
Google API Disclosure
Our app uses Google OAuth for authentication. We access your Google primary email address and public profile information (name and profile picture). We use this data solely to create your account, personalize your dashboard, and verify your identity.
**Funny.CEO's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.**
What we hold and where it came from is listed in section 1 above. The lines below are the ones a list of data cannot state, so they are stated here:
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use your data to train anybody's AI model.
- We do not share what you searched for, or what you asked an agent, with anyone outside this company.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in secure, encrypted databases hosted on Google Cloud Platform. We implement strict access controls and industry-standard encryption for data at rest and in transit.
Your card number never reaches our servers. Stripe takes it directly and hands us a reference, so a breach of our systems could not expose it. That is narrower than saying we store no financial data, which would not be true: your FU balance and your payment history are held here, and are listed below.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Outside this company, your information is seen only by the providers below and by anyone section 1 names against a specific item — or when the law requires it.
- Google, if you chose to sign in with it
- OpenAI
- Stripe
- The venue that wrote it
- The venue whose show you bought a ticket to
5. Your Rights & Deletion
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account yourself in Settings → Privacy, or by writing to privacy@funny.ceo.
Deleting your account erases your profile and everything that exists only because you do. Records that belong to somebody else too — a venue's ticket sales, the payouts they are audited on, a report somebody filed — survive with your name taken out of them. It cannot be undone, and you cannot sign back in.
We keep the audit log, including the record of this deletion. An audit trail its subject can edit by leaving is not an audit trail.
We will refuse the request, and tell you exactly why, while money or a commitment is still open between you and somebody else — FU left on your balance, a payout owed to you and not yet paid, a show you are on the bill for, or a room you own. Each of those names what clears it. None of them is a delay: they are the cases where deleting you on demand takes something from a third party who never agreed to it, or takes your own money.
