DAVID CROSS

Chelsea’s Live is a vibrant revival of the beloved Baton Rouge staple, Chelsea’s Cafe. Located in a historic warehouse on Nicholson Drive between the LSU campus and downtown, the venue blends a storied past with a modern, "neon-laden" atmosphere. The room features a spacious open floor and a state-of-the-art sound system designed for an immersive experience. Its industrial-chic aesthetic and warm, community-focused energy make it a standout destination in the local arts scene. While renowned for its music, Chelsea’s Live is also a premier destination for comedy. The venue frequently hosts stand-up events through partnerships like Laugh Life Comedy, bringing both local talent and internationally acclaimed performers to the stage. Notable acts such as comedian and poet ALOK have performed here, alongside high-energy variety shows. Whether catching a touring headliner or a local showcase, the venue offers an intimate yet electric setting for a night of laughs.
