Jazz and Jokes €“ Holiday Edition

Located in Chicago’s South Loop, Reggies Music Joint is a neighborhood staple that opened in 2007 within a converted auto repair shop. The venue is characterized by its laid-back, gritty atmosphere, featuring exposed Old Chicago Brick and an extensive collection of music and sports memorabilia. While widely recognized as a hub for live music, the Joint has established itself as a key destination for the city’s comedy scene, offering an intimate stage that brings fans close to the performance in an unpretentious setting. The venue’s comedy programming includes regular events like the "South Loop Standup" series and the "HA/HA to Hell" showcase. These shows have featured a variety of prominent local and touring acts, including comedians such as Daniel Cassilagio, Sonal Aggarwal, and Michael Johnson. Whether hosting weekly showcases or special events in its dedicated comedy spaces, Reggies provides a warm and authentic environment for experiencing Chicago’s diverse comedic talent.
