Jacob Hawley

Jacob Hawley has performed stand-up on The Russell Howard Hour (Sky Max) and Secrets of The Irish Comedy Circuit (ITVX), as well as appearing on The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITVX), BBC 3’s hit sitcom Ladhood and multiple BBC Comedy shorts.​ Jacob toured his latest stand-up show ‘SPACE’ throughout 2024 and into 2025 across the UK, adding more dates due to demand. ​His first two Edinburgh Fringe shows ‘Howl’ and ‘Faliraki’ were both translated into BBC Radio 4 Stand Up Specials, with his second special ‘Class Act’ being named The Guardian’s Pick Of The Week. Jacob has written for The Sunday Times, Mock The Week, The BBC, and is a regular columnist for The Metro.​ He was awarded a Radio Academy award which he accepted at London’s Palladium for Best New Voice for his hit BBC Sounds podcast Jacob Hawley: On Drugs, one of the BBC’s first original podcasts, a show which regularly featured in the iTunes top 12 podcasts and amassed over half a million downloads.
