In television, Elassal can next be seen starring in the upcoming FX series ADULTS alongside Lucy Freyer, Owen Thiele, Jack Innanen, and Amita Rao. Created by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw (THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON), ADULTS follows a group of twenty-somethings in New York doing their best to become good people, despite being neither “good” nor “people” yet, while putting a slightly heightened twist on the wins, losses, and humiliations of starting out in the adult world. Elassal is a standout as Samir, a sweetheart and over thinker who struggles to fix the problems around him – from his parents’ boiler to his perpetual unemployment to his love life. ADULTS is slated to premier all eight episodes on HULU, May 29, 2025.
