The platform now speaks the language of the room. Navigation, empty states, and system messages have been rewritten in the voice of the comedy industry — from the door to the stage.

Stage Spotlight Talent Cards
Comedians without a photo now get a unique stage spotlight card — their initials lit center-stage, a mic stand silhouette, and a spotlight color unique to each performer. Seven palette options; deterministically assigned so the same comic always gets the same color.
Comedy-Native Navigation
Labels across all roles updated to industry language. Venue owners now see Lineup, The Door, Box Office, Promote, My Club, and My Crew. Comedians see My Spots, Get Booked, Press Kit, and My Record. Fans see What's On, My Tickets, Watch Live, and Bring a Friend.
Grouped Dashboard Navigation
All role dashboards now organize navigation items into labeled sections instead of a flat list — My Work / Career for comedians, Shows / Revenue / Venue for venue owners, Discover / My Activity for fans.
Platform-Wide Empty States
Every zero-data state now speaks the language of the stage. No more generic 'No results found'. Instead: 'Stage is dark tonight', 'Nothing booked. The phone doesn't ring itself.', 'The room isn't going to fill itself.', 'Be the first to flip the lights.'
Refinements
- Register page role descriptions rewritten in industry voice — Fan: 'Find what's on tonight, buy tickets in seconds'; Comedian: 'Get your press kit live, find open spots, get paid properly'; Venue: 'Run your lineup, own your audience data — no middleman'.
- Error pages updated to match platform personality: 'That bit didn't land. Try again or head back to the main stage.'
- Checkout loading state: 'Setting the stage...' replaces generic loading text.
- Follow confirmation: 'On the list — We'll let you know when they have shows near you.'
- About page tabs renamed to 'The Platform' and 'What's New' for clarity.
