One Platform, End to End: Booking, Paying and Growing Live Comedy

This is the release where every part of a live comedy business meets in one place. A booking made on Funny.CEO now runs cleanly from the first offer to the final payout, and four major surfaces open at once: the Vault for a comedian's material, sponsorships for venues, a national leaderboard, and analytics that hold up. It is the most substantial release we have shipped, and it turns Funny.CEO from a place to list a show into the system a comedy business actually runs on.

What's new

  • The Complete Booking Loop

Offers, acceptances, declines, cancellations and backups now work cleanly from both sides, with clear notice windows so nobody is left guessing. A comedian already booked elsewhere that night cannot be double-booked into your room. Bookers get a calendar they can trust, and comedians get a professional process that treats their time as real.

  • Settlement You Can Take to the Bank

Door sales are counted, no-shows are handled, and every payout reconciles against what actually happened on the night. Venues close out a show in minutes instead of an evening, and performers get paid the right amount without chasing anyone for it.

  • The Vault

Every Bit You Own, In One Place: Comedians can build sets from their own material, keep the whole catalogue in one library, and feed it straight into the AI tools. Your work becomes an asset you can search, reuse and develop, rather than a folder of notes on a phone.

  • Sponsorships, Open for Business

Venues can package, price and sell sponsorship on any show, and see exactly what it returned. A new revenue line for every room on the platform, running on the same rails as ticketing.

  • The National Leaderboard

Rankings now reflect genuine performers and real results, giving comedians a public, portable record of how they are doing and giving talent buyers a way to find people on merit rather than on who they already know.

  • Analytics That Count What They Say

Every figure on the analytics surface measures exactly what its label claims — sales, attendance, performance, spend. Numbers you can plan a season around and put in front of a landlord or an investor.

  • Stage Door

Run the Night From One Screen: The night-of command surface for the green room — who is on, who has arrived, what happens next. The running order lives in one place and everybody backstage is looking at the same thing.

  • Availability, Published

Comedians can publish the nights they can work, so bookers approach them about dates they can actually do. Less back-and-forth, faster confirmations, fuller rooms.

  • Booking Notifications, Everywhere You Are

Applications, acceptances, declines, promotions from backup and cancellations now reach your inbox, and every notification preference across the platform is honoured exactly as set.

  • Commission, Agreed in the Open

When an agency proposes a rate above the standard threshold, the comedian is asked directly and nothing changes until they agree. Representation on Funny.CEO is transparent by design — a standard the industry has never had a system for.

  • Recurring Shows, Properly Recurring

Build a weekly, biweekly or monthly night once and let the platform generate the run. Each date starts clean, so a residency takes minutes to schedule instead of an evening.

  • The Ticketmaster Catalogue, Fully Indexed

Our official Ticketmaster partnership now indexes the full comedy catalogue, so national tours, arena headliners and club dates sit alongside Funny.CEO originals across every discovery surface.

Refinements

  • Duplicate talent profiles can now be merged in bulk — and unmerged, if a merge was wrong — keeping the directory clean as it scales.
  • Identity checks that were never completed are now reconciled automatically.
  • Discovery, city pages and the sitemap are substantially faster, and now keep themselves current without intervention.
  • Fees and pricing are stated plainly wherever money changes hands.
  • A broad, proactive security review across bookings, payouts, staff accounts, profile claims and venue settings. Nothing was ever reported to us; we went looking, as we will continue to.
