The Tiered Discovery Update
A major architectural overhaul to the Comedy Clubs directory. We've introduced a location-aware Tiered Discovery Model that intelligently categorizes venues into Local, Regional, and National circuits, ensuring fans always find premium comedy regardless of their zip code.
What's new
Tiered Proximity Grouping
The Clubs directory no longer relies on a simple radius cutoff. Venues are now dynamically grouped into 'Clubs Near You' (0-50 miles), 'Road Trips & Regional' (50-250 miles), and 'National Circuit' (Global).
Smart Search Override
When searching by name, the directory instantly collapses the tiered groupings into a unified, paginated list, prioritizing direct predictability when you know exactly what you're looking for.
Unified Discovery Aesthetics
Both Grid and List view modes now share the same premium categorical headers, featuring glowing indicators that signal the proximity tier of each venue grouping.
National Fallback Engine
To prevent empty-state drop-offs in remote areas, the directory automatically populates the National Circuit with premium comedy hubs when no local or regional venues are detected.
