Your Day, and When You Get Paid
For comics: one screen that says where you are tonight, what the rest of the week holds, and when your pay is due — and a clock on that pay, so it never just waits on somebody remembering. For organizers: a reminder when pay is due, and a way to hold it with a reason if something needs sorting first. And if a show is cancelled, the comics hear about it straight away, not at the door.
What's new
Today
Your home screen now opens on tonight — your spot and roughly when you're up, or your place on the waitlist — then the rest of the week, anything cancelled, the pay you're owed and when it's due, and the one thing your press kit still needs.
Pay Due in Seven Days
A comic's pay is now due seven days after the show. The organizer gets a reminder on the day and another if it's three days late, when Funny.CEO steps in too. You're told where your money is at every step.
Hold, With a Reason
If something needs sorting out before the comics are paid — a no-show, a disputed set — an organizer can put the pay on hold, but only with a reason every comic on the show reads. Lifting it restarts the clock.
Cancellations Reach the Comics
When an organizer cancels a show, everyone booked on it is told at once, with the reason — even if they've turned other emails off.
No Settling Before the Show
A show can no longer be settled before it has happened.
Refinements
- The comedian home no longer lists cancelled dates as upcoming, and a show tonight no longer drops off the list after 8pm in New York.
