Humphrey Coliseum

Humphrey Coliseum, affectionately known as "The Hump," is a centerpiece of the Mississippi State University campus in Starkville. Since its opening in 1975, the venue has served as a primary hub for the "Starkvegas" community, recently undergoing significant renovations completed in 2023. These updates introduced sleek glass entryways and modernized concourses, blending the building’s classic red-brick character with contemporary amenities. While widely recognized as a premier athletic arena, it regularly transforms into a major entertainment destination for the region. For comedy fans, the Coliseum hosts large-scale national tours that bring a high-energy atmosphere to stand-up performances. The venue has a long history of attracting legendary entertainers, from Bob Hope in its inaugural seasons to modern headliners like Nate Bargatze. Located in the heart of the university district, it offers a professional and warm environment for those looking to catch top-tier comedic talent in a historic Mississippi landmark.
