McCaw Hall

Located in the heart of the Seattle Center, Marion Oliver McCaw Hall is a premier cultural landmark with a storied history. Originally opened in 1928 as the Civic Auditorium and later known as the Seattle Opera House, the venue underwent a massive transformation in 2003. Today, it stands as a centerpiece of the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood, celebrated for its striking five-story glass wall and state-of-the-art design. While it is the prestigious home of the city's resident opera and ballet companies, its world-class acoustics make it a top-tier destination for major touring comedy. Comedy fans can expect a professional, high-energy environment where every punchline lands with clarity. The hall has hosted some of the industry’s biggest names, including global stars like Ali Wong, Russell Peters, and Max Amini. Whether you are catching a marquee stand-up tour or a major live podcast event, McCaw Hall offers an elegant yet intimate experience in one of Seattle's most iconic performance spaces.
