Red Rocks Amphitheatre, located in the foothills of Morrison, Colorado, is a world-renowned open-air venue carved into ancient sandstone. Dedicated in 1941, the site was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps and designed by architect Burnham Hoyt to preserve the area's natural acoustics. The performance space is framed by two massive monoliths, Ship Rock and Creation Rock, providing a stunning geological backdrop that has made it a National Historic Landmark. While famous for its legendary music history, Red Rocks has become a premier destination for major comedy events under the stars. The venue hosts a variety of performances, including stand-up specials and the "Film on the Rocks" series. Renowned comedians such as Bill Burr, who filmed a Netflix special at the site, Bert Kreischer, Amy Schumer, and John Mulaney have all performed on its iconic stage. For comedy fans, it offers a rare opportunity to see top-tier talent in one of the most visually striking environments in the world.
