Killing Time
On Tour
"Killing Time" is the premier comedy powerhouse of the West Coast, a high-octane stand-up entity spearheaded by the dynamic duo of Holly James and Johnny Taylor, Jr. Rooted in Sacramento’s vibrant scene, this act has become a staple at the legendary Punch Line, where they curate and headline one of the region’s most sought-after bi-monthly showcases, featuring the best talent from Northern California and beyond. Their comedic style is a masterclass in contrast: Holly James delivers razor-sharp, candid storytelling drawn from the chaos of motherhood and everyday life, while Johnny Taylor, Jr.—a nationally touring headliner—specializes in darkly funny, incisive observations. Taylor’s acclaimed special, Bummin' With The Devil, topped the Amazon and iTunes comedy charts, while James has earned accolades at major festivals like SF Sketchfest and Altercation Fest.
