The Neighborhood Kids

The Neighborhood Kids are a San Diego-based conscious hip-hop collective that has rapidly become a powerhouse in the underground scene. Founded by the dynamic duo of Verde and Amon the MC, the group is celebrated for a "revolutionary" fusion of jazz-rap, punk, and soul. They first gained massive national attention with their viral 2023 anthem "Kids in the Cages," a biting reflection on social injustice that earned them the title of Tom Morello’s "new favorite band."
